Sunday, the 17th of
April, 2011 and Clare our youngest daughter took me and my wife Josie in her
car to
Coton Manor Garden in Northamptonshire the next county, just over an hours run away. Have been several times to this delightful garden and well worth
a visit at the various times in the year when you see different aspects of
it. This particular time it favoured tulips and spring bulbs.
Still a lovely sight, so get your boots on and start trekking.
Enjoy everyone.

Bit cold in the winter I should think with no
clothes on.

One of several pools. Colourful tulips on the
right. |
|
| The purple magnolia
"Susan". My daughter has just bought this variety of tree for her mum
for this year's Mothering Sunday as a present and it is growing well at the
moment in our garden. |

Clare with her mum Josie in the Bluebell wood and
the bluebells looked really nice. |

Flamingo's attracted several photographers'. My eldest son Kevin is particular fond of the blue meconopsis. |

the restaurant is. Price board showing the menu and how much each item

Me and my wife, Josie enjoying the lovely warm day.
Not sure whether I wanted shorts on but erred on the side of warmth.
Another shot in the same area near the pond showing Clare and her mum,
Josie. |

Waterfall with it's peaceful atmosphere. The
wall looked far better than this photograph can show. |

An unusual crop.
